WHY I COACH
I believe our world has the capacity to thrive and you as a human lead the way.
You instinctively know how to think outside the box and be resourceful. You recognize the value that is gained through experiential learning, hands-on understanding, and the ability to put oneself out there. You know how to risk, trust, and connect to the elements and ideas that feel vital to well being. You have the ability to connect deeply to needs and to embody the essential skills needed for survival. I support you.

WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY
“Working with Rachel is a perfect opportunity for any creative who finds themself in a place where they need to make a decision or take a turn in their career to accelerate themselves. Rachel is a conduit of clarity and balance.”
—SaraBeth Post, Glass Artist
“Rachel offers an invaluable opportunity for true insight. As a young artist with a widely ranging interdisciplinary practice, it is not easy to find a guide or mentor figure who is capably adaptive as Rachel - she meets artists where they are and brings her powers of seeing and understanding to bear whatever the content or material at hand. I had a great time working with Rachel, and would recommend it to any artist whether they are actively in search of guidance or not.”

Scott Vander Veen, Visual Artist
“The opportunity to work with Rachel as I began an artist residency program gave me space to say out loud the swirl of thoughts, ideas, plans, dreams, and fears circling in my mind. In doing so, it created a space for these thoughts to land and be looked at. Rachel sees past what feels chaotic, unrelated, and unimportant and provides concise logic and sensitivity in identifying how to move forward with an underlying foundation that is supportive of both reflection and growth.”
Ellie Richards, Furniture Designer & Sculptor
“The service Rachel offers is invaluable to me. Rather than approaching my issues with a quick fix, she listened and guided me through a layered process of active reflection. I felt, talking with her over time, that I had more space around the issues I had presented to her. I found more clarity and confidence in my ability to work with difficulties rather than have them overwhelm me in my creative process. Thank you, Rachel!”
Elaine Bleakney, Author
“As a textile artist and footwear designer, I'm used to solving problems creatively... in the studio. But for some reason, those problem-solving skills weren't translating into other areas of my life. I felt really stuck. Diving deep with Rachel refocused my attention on a problem I've been struggling with for years; her generosity and openness allowed me to face the issue head on, and her thoughtful approach guided me down a new path of accountability and resolve.”
